Mr. Bennet's Dutiful Daughter Cover Reveal

This is an exciting day for a fun simultaneous cover reveal. I believe it's a first! :) There are nine other blogs, yes, you read correctly, nine blogs besides mine, participating in this reveal for Joana Starne's latest novel, Mr. Bennet's Dutiful Daughter.  Isn't that fantastic? There are some neat prizes offered for a giveaway too!

I absolutely adore Ms. Starnes writing and all her books. I have followed her writing career from her first release and it has been a great ride. Cogratulations, Joana Starnes, on yet another new novel. I have no doubt that it is as fabulous as your other books. It is now added to the top of my growing list of TBR books. It is being released as we speak.

To get things rolling, let's hear a little about this book and the author! :)

Book Description
When Colonel Fitzwilliam’s disclosures are interrupted by the bearer of distressing news from Longbourn, Miss Elizabeth Bennet is compelled to consider an offer she would have otherwise dismissed out of hand. An offer of marriage from the all-too-proud Mr Darcy.

Yet how is she to live with a husband she hardly knows and does not love? Would she be trapped in a marriage of convenience while events conspire to divide them? Or would love grow as, day by day and hour after hour, she learns to understand the man she married, before she loses his trust and his heart?

Isn't it stunning. I love the painting. Some interesting information about the painting on the cover has been provided by the charming and efficient blog tour organizer, Claudine Pepe, and and the equally charming author, Joana Starnes. If you would like more information about the artist who painted this portrait, visit John Opie's Wikipedia Page. You can visit his work here. John Opie was a British landscape and portrait artist, who painted quite a few famous people, including the author, Mary Wollstonecraft. Some of his work is also featured in the Chawton House Library. Included is the Knight Collection comprised of family portraits, landscapes and some Jane Austen related pieces.

  6. Thank you so much, Janet, for joining this cover reveal and the blog tour. If I know your tastes, I think this will be one you'll love too. I feel the same as Christina... This may be Joana's best, but then again, it's almost like picking a favorite child. Not exactly the same, but you get my point, LOL!

I can't wait to read the exclusive vignette that Joana shares with your readers on the blog tour. Have a great weekend!

I love this concept of sharing the cover reveal like a giant release party! I'm going to all the sites to party with you all! Conga line, anyone? (You've seen that video, right?)
